Distribution automation is one of the key foundations of a smart distribution network, playing an important role in improving power supply reliability and enhancing distribution network operations and management. As its value has become increasingly evident, distribution automation has been widely adopted across urban power networks in major cities throughout China.

With the continued expansion of distribution automation systems, the importance of effective construction and O&M management has grown accordingly. To ensure the stable operation of the distribution automation system in the Binhai area and reduce fault rates, the company carried out routine maintenance, defect rectification, and acceptance work for distribution automation terminals, including in-cabinet communication equipment. The project also included wireless private network upgrades, commissioning, and parameter configuration adjustments for automation terminals, as well as routine maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and acceptance of intelligent distribution transformer terminals, low-voltage branch monitoring units, and low-voltage intelligent circuit breakers. These efforts significantly improved the online availability of distribution automation terminals in the Binhai area and contributed to the reliable operation of the local power grid.
