Located within the Funing Economic Development Zone in Yancheng, the project site lies approximately 1,000 meters west of National Highway G204, to the west of Zhongliang Avenue and north of Lushan Road. The project is designed to optimize the regional 220 kV and 110 kV grid structure, significantly improving grid safety and reliability.

In line with the grid connection and transmission line planning方案, all overhead and cable routes are arranged in parallel with existing or planned road corridors. The project is designed with an ultimate capacity of three 240 MVA / 220 kV main transformers, together with 10 outgoing 220 kV lines, 12 outgoing 110 kV lines, and 36 outgoing 10 kV lines.
