New Longxu 220 kV Substation Project

April 25, 2023

To meet the growing electricity demand in the areas south of Lizhuang Village and east of Songwei Village in Shuyang, Suqian, this project was developed to strengthen the regional 220 kV and 110 kV grid structure, significantly improve grid safety and reliability, and support local economic and social development. The substation also plays a key role in connecting the power network in southeastern Shuyang.

According to the site selection and route study, the Longxu 220 kV Substation is located on designated basic farmland, with a township road immediately to the north and the Luxing Branch Canal approximately 1,500 meters to the east. The project is planned for an ultimate capacity of three 240 MVA main transformers at a voltage level of 220/110/10 kV. The current phase includes the installation of one 180 MVA main transformer with a voltage rating of 220±8×1.25%/115/10.5 kV, a coil capacity ratio of 180/180/90 MVA, and a vector group of YNa0d11.
