Officially commissioned in 2018, the Jiangsu Zeyu Intelligent Microgrid Demonstration Project integrates rooftop solar, an energy storage station, DC charging piles, and AC charging piles.

By implementing a remote intelligent inspection system at the ±800 kV Suzhou Converter Station, the project further enhanced automated inspection capabilities and enabled comprehensive coverage of visual inspections, instrument readings, and oil level monitoring for primary equipment across the entire station.

This project covered the design, equipment procurement, and construction of distributed photovoltaic power stations across 10 rural towns in Hai’an, including Libao and Nanmo.

This project was primarily designed to support the transmission of dispatching telephone services, dispatch automation systems, line protection signals, and other critical information between the Zhangye Substation, the Gansu Provincial Dispatch Center, and the Northwest Branch of the National Dispatch Center.

As of April 2022, the Huai’an region had an extensive power communication network comprising one 1,000 kV UHV substation, one ±800 kV converter station, three 500 kV substations, 29 substations at 220 kV, 99 substations at 110 kV, and 52 substations at 35 kV, along with more than 420 transmission devices in operation and over 7,000 kilometers of active power optical cable.

The Qinghai–Henan ±800 kV UHV DC Transmission Project, also known as the “Qingyu DC Project,” is a landmark initiative aligned with China’s national energy strategy and a major green energy project driving the transformation of energy production and consumption.

To strengthen cyber defense and penetration testing capabilities for provincial power monitoring systems, and to support the development of specialized security talent, this project involved the construction of a dedicated attack-and-defense laboratory at the Jiangsu Provincial Dispatch Center.

The Jiangsu ±800 kV Taizhou UHV Converter Station Remote Intelligent Inspection System is one of State Grid’s demonstration projects for digital converter station development.

The State Grid Beijing–Shanghai Optical Transmission Upgrade Project (North China Section) marked the company’s first participation in a national backbone circuit project for State Grid.

As grid operations continue to evolve, higher standards have been placed on dispatch center display systems, requiring real-time, intuitive, and flexible visualization of geographic power flow maps, AVC data, dispatcher load flow information, status analysis, and power generation and consumption data.
