Jiangsu Power Dispatch Data Network Construction and Upgrade Project

September 18, 2023

The Jiangsu Dispatch Data Network consists of a backbone network and an access network. The backbone network is divided into Plane I and Plane II, while the access network is divided into the provincial access network and the municipal access network. The municipal access network further includes a primary core and a secondary core. Within the provincial access network, the core nodes of the provincial dispatch center and the provincial backup dispatch center are interconnected with the core nodes of both backbone planes. Within the municipal access network, the primary core nodes of local dispatch master stations are connected to the core nodes of their respective local dispatch backbone networks, while the secondary core nodes at 500 kV substations are connected to the core nodes of the corresponding backup local dispatch backbone networks.

Jiangsu’s Plane I and Plane II backbone networks adopt a dual-star topology and are structured into a core layer and an access layer. The core layer consists of the provincial dispatch center and the provincial backup dispatch center, interconnected through GE interfaces with a bandwidth of 1000M. The access layer includes 13 local dispatch centers and the Changshu county dispatch center (Suzhou disaster recovery node), all of which are connected upstream to both the provincial dispatch center and the provincial backup dispatch center through GE interfaces, also with a bandwidth of 1000M. The Nanjing Branch of the Centralized O&M Center of China Electric Power Research Institute is connected to the Plane I and Plane II backbone nodes of the provincial dispatch center through back-to-back backbone routers, using GE interfaces with a bandwidth of 1000M.
